What’s wrong with conventional soap?
There are more beneficial microbes living on your skin than there are cells in your body. Conventional soaps and shower gels kill too many of them, and remove too many of your skin’s precious natural oils. Also, almost all shower products contain an array of unnecessary synthetic ingredients (for example: triclosan, sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, fragrance, PEG) used to make the product look, feel or smell nicer. Many of these chemicals are absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream where they accumulate, disrupt hormonal balance and lower fertility.
Why Soap No. 1?
Traditionally made African black soap can be used on all skin and hair types. It helps with acne, dry scalp, eczema, razor bumps and eliminating blemishes. Our unique signature mix of organic essential oils adds to the experience.
How to use.
Use as needed. For oily skin, use with exfoliating wash cloth. Avoid over washing. Rebalancing skin takes only two weeks, skin or hair might feel dry or oily during the rebalancing phase; this is normal and necessary for resetting the skin information system. If soap gets too soft, roll into a ball and keep dry.
